Impact Of Free Domains On Your Blog

Blogging is a craze these days. If you are one of those crazy guys remember one thing before you start your blogging journey – never use a so-called free domain for your blog. As a newbie if you search the net you will find several free domains. A few of them like .TK or .CO.NR are quite popular. You can fall for them easily especially for .TK as it is a top level domain. But remember they do not not give you any dns support. They will just redirect your old url, say urname.blogspot.com, to www.urname.tk .
If you are a novice you will not realize the difference at first. It will create a framed webpage & you original site body will not be indexed by search engine. Just the meta description & meta keywords will get indexed. Thus when people will search a topic search engines like Google cannot find it even if you have written it in your blog post. You will keep loosing your potential visitors & never ever will have a decent traffic.
So if you can, buy a domain or else, just use blogspot.com or wordpress.com extension for your free blogs. After all, blog is nothing but dynamic contents & if search engine users cannot find these post contents, what is the point for blogging?
Thanks,
Anirban Roy

Yes it is true, I tried blogging once and when I tried searching it over google I cannot find it in the list even though what I searched is like the main topic of my blog. This blog of yours is very helpful to many specially those who does not know much of blogging or for starters.

There are some free domains with real IP and DNS support. You must also have a host where you can set a virtual host for your domain… but it’s possible!
