Difference between Pagerank 0 and N/A
Posted on August 11th, 2008 by Rishabh Sood under Blogging, General Chat, Link Building, SEO Tricks/TipsHello guys,
I have seen a lot of guys confused about the Difference between Pagerank 0 and N/A! So I deciced to make a post on it.
So what does Pagerank 0 exactly mean?
Pagerank 0 means google has assigned pagerank to the website but due to less quality of backlinks its been given a pagerank 0.
I’m stuck on Pagerank 0 what to do?
This is another question I came across, Basically what you have to do to get a good pagerank is build more and more quality backlinks. If you need more information on Link Building read my blog
I’m stuck at Pagerank N/A what to do?
In most of the cases when you have pagerank N/A it means that your blog is very new(Less than 3 months). Again, to get a good pagerank you will also have to build links to gain a good pagerank.
All the best to everyone… thats all for today on topic Difference between Pagerank 0 and N/A
Regards,
Rishabh Sood

Rishabh that’s a very useful tip for beginners. And I have been asked that question as lot of times myself.
You might want to mention that you PR0 (or even more) page can become PR N/A if it’s de-indexed or receives a penalty
You might also want to include that grey bar in google toolbar means PR N/A.

A simple sent. about NA – That page does not contain any single value and it’s in green bar, if it;s for so long time, the page might have some problem with onpage optimization especially facing problem of content duplication.

Very True. Most times people just give up and stuff there pages. You gotta build quality backlinks before you can worry that your content doesn’t work alone. build the links the quality will follow through time. Don’t panic and don’t buy links. Just build them the old fashion way! Follow the rules. Because the Sandbox isn’t a good place to be. there is no easy way!

for all I would add PR1 also means low priority young site. There is also Google filter which checks domain age.

I was wondering isn’t page rank N/a or a gray bar mean the page has been banned by Google?
August 19th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
It doesn’t always means that the website is banned.

Thanks for the info – I’ve got a newish website for free online flash games called Aaron’s Game Zone. It had a page rank of 2, but after some updating of the site suddenly went N/A and so did my blog.

hi there…
Thanks a lot!:D I was a bit nervous when I got a PR N/A.. Is that the only reason why someone could get it? I am still building my blog site.. I am not sure if I’ll remain stuck on that PR…*nerves*
